Tommy Mello is the owner and operator of A1 Garage Door Service, a leading $100+ million home service business based in Phoenix, Arizona, with over 400 employees in 19 states and 30 markets. Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Mello moved to Phoenix in 1999 and began painting garage doors.

Tommy launched his business, which at the time was called A1 Garage Door Specialists, in 2007 while earning his master’s degree in business from the University of Arizona.

Overcoming several obstacles, he was able to shift from being $50k in debt to owning a multi-million home services company, currently the largest independently owned garage door company in North America. In the last two years alone, Tommy has increased annual sales for the business from $40 million to more than $100+ million

Chad Peterman is the President and CEO of Peterman Brothers. Under the leadership of Chad and his brother Tyler, Peterman has grown to a company of over 550 team members across 6 locations serving the residential HVAC, plumbing and electrical needs of customers in central Indiana. Peterman Brothers has earned a position on the Indy Star’s Top Workplaces List five consecutive times, the Indianapolis Business Journal’s Fast 25 in 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022, Plumbing & Mechanical Magazine’s Residential Contractor of the Year in 2019 and the Inc 5000 list in 2019, 2020, 202 and 2022. In 2021, they were also awarded the Dealer of the Year by Bryant Heating and Cooling Systems as the top Bryant dealer in the United States. Chad also founded the Peterman Top Tech Academy in 2020, to train the next generation of residential HVAC and plumbing technicians.

In 2022, Chad was named Top 40 Under 40 by ACHR News and has had the honor of sharing the stage with the likes of Cordia Harrington, Steve Forbes, Alan Mullaly, Ken Fisher and Dan Kennedy when it comes to sharing his message about how growing your people will ultimately grow your company. Chad has also authored two books, his most recent being “Can’t Stop the Growth: How to Build a Culture That Takes Care of Your Customers.” He also hosts the podcast “You Can’t Stop the Growth.”

Al Levi, “The 7-Power Contractor,” is a success story like no other. After retiring from his family contracting business at age 48, Al began sharing his 7-Power system with other contractors throughout the U.S., Canada and Australia so they could learn to run their businesses with less stress and more success. Brandon Vaughn
